Aquatics Armenia was founded in 2007 to plan, construct, and guide the local implementation of community-based recreational facilities in Armenia and Karabagh, which currently have such facilities only for a privileged few.

We are dedicated to providing recreational environments that strengthen community,  improve health and enhance quality of life for all Armenian citizens, regardless of socio-economic background, gender, or age.

With old, Soviet-built pools crumbling and public fountains stagnant with Bacteria-laden water, in the extreme summer heat, Armenia’s children lack access to safe and clean water recreation. Private pools with clean, filtered water lifeguards and swimming lesson serve only the few who can afford to pay to cool off. Aquatics Armenia plans to change that, bringing recreational equity to Armenia’s communities, one facility at a time.
